Founded in 1889, Amadeo Rossi AS is a Brazilian firearms manufacturer. The company is based in the city of Sao Leopoldo, and it is one of the main gun producers in Brazil. Rossi entered the American market in the 70s, enjoying great popularity soon after.

In 1997, the Brazilian manufacturer founded its own subsidiary representative in North America, named BrazTech.

Products

Rossi produces hunting rifles, shotguns, their traditional Puma rifles, and their own line of airguns, called the Rossi Dione. They used to manufacture revolvers and handguns as well, but that production line was acquired by Taurus.

The Rossi Wizard was one of the company’s greatest innovations, and one of the most important additions to the history of rifle manufacturing. The Wizard was like 23 guns in one. On this gun, the barrels can be changed quickly and easily, so the shooter can choose which one they want to use at a time. This allows them to use different calibers, and there are shotgun and muzzleloader barrels options as well.

The Wizard was a hammer fired, single shot rifle. Unfortunately, the Wizard is no longer in production, but Rossi offers many other great firearms.

The R46102 .357 Magnum cal., R35102 .38 Special cal., R46202 .357 Magnum cal., R35202 .38 Special cal., and the Rossi Circuit Judge .410-bore/45 LC (carbine) are among the company’s current line of available products.
